Fonacot highlighted that it will apply these special measures in its payroll loans to the more than 11,000 workers it has in Acapulco once communications are restored.
“After the passage of Hurricane Otis, the Fonacot Institute will look for mechanisms to facilitate working people affected by the natural phenomenon to access financing under the best conditions and that will allow them to recover part of their assets,” Fonacot added in a release.
In the coming days, the additional actions that will be undertaken will be announced, with the aim of collaborating with the efforts of the Government of Mexico to promote the recovery of those affected.
