The most recent case is Firesprite, a studio based in Liverpool which is already bigger than all the other teams of PlayStation on United Kingdom. Well, this study is about to grow even more thanks to the acquisition of Fabrik Games.
And it is that yes, Firesprite, no Sony, has bought from Fabrik Games, a small team of Manchester, which will be incorporated into Firesprite for a total of 265 employees.

Since before, Firesprite and Fabrik Games they had already had a close relationship; Fabrik was founded by Graeme Ankers, who served as administrative director at Firesprite. Similarly, both studies collaborated with the creation of The Persistence.
It certainly seems that Sony is positioning Firesprite as one of the largest studios within the PS Studios. Of course, we’ll have to wait to see how this team plays games, but it will definitely be interesting to learn about the future of the studio.
