Barça is in talks with PSG to close the transfer of Ousmane Dembélé before the winter market closes on Monday. The departure of the French international was a priority for the Blaugrana club after confirming the impossibility of reaching an agreement for his renewal and, as SPORT has learned, the striker’s representative, Moussa Sissoko, gave the go-ahead this Sunday to the football director of the Barcelona entity, Mateu Alemany, to enter into negotiations with the Parisian club.
Barça’s first intention was to close the operation at 20 million. A figure that, together with the saving of Dembélé’s file, would allow to close the reinforcements that are on track for this second part of the season.
The negotiation with PSG has put two names on the table that may interest the Blaugrana club: Mauro Icardi and Juan Bernattwo contrasting footballers for two positions that Barça urgently needs to strengthen.
The arrival of a striker is a priority for Xavi Hernández and Barça seems to have negotiations very advanced for the hiring of Arsenao’s striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. The Blaugrana club should study if Icardi’s option is compatible with the arrival of the French international.
The other currency Bernat, is a footballer who has already been linked in the past with Barça and it would be a first level alternative for Jordi Alba, who has spent many seasons without a relief of guarantees.
Barça and PSG have little more than 24 hours to close the operation. Be it with a barter of soccer players or with a transfer that would be around those 20 million in which the Blaugrana club has valued Dembélé.
