sonic frontiers It was announced late last year. For six months, fans eagerly awaited new information about this game. Although their prayers were answered when two videos focused on the gameplay of this title were revealed last week, hardly anyone was happy with what SEGA showed us. Now, and similar to what happened with the first movie of sonic the hedgehog, the fans ask that sonic frontiers be retarded.
Last week, IGN shared two videos of Sonic Frontiers. The first was focused on the game’s open world, with an emphasis on the way Sonic moves and a couple of puzzles. The second showed us a bit more of the combat, and the new abilities of the blue hedgehog. Nevertheless, none of these glimpses were received positively. In addition to all the disappointments it caused, many have pointed out that the game needs a delay in order for it to meet the standards that the public has.
“This is embarrassing. How come Sonic Team is so incompetent?
Why did they feel like this was ready to show off? it looks like a tech demo or a fan game.
Please #DelaySonicFrontiers.”
This looks like ASS.
stiff and clunky as fuck. This is Boom levels of incomplete.

However, it seems that a delay would not even be a solution. According to Svend Joscelyne, founder of the Sonic Stadium fansite and IGN’s global editorial director, The problem of sonic frontiers it is not something that can be solved with a couple more months of development. This is what he commented on it:
“#DelaySonicFrontiers won’t work because for me the main concern is its whole concept and approach to gameplay; a delay to debug and add content won’t fix that.
For what it sets out to be, I think #SonicFrontiers has a chance to be polished in the winter.
#SonicFrontiers seems to want to be a hyper-realistic, combat-focused Sonic game that is based on the movies… leaning on Sonic’s athleticism rather than physics/momentum based gameplay. And that’s fine if that’s the goal. It’s just not the Sonic game he was hoping for in 2022.”

sonic frontiers coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2022. Sadly, it looks like once again SEGA will let us down with a new Sonic game. In related topics, here you can see the video focused on the game’s combat. Similarly, this is the first look at the open world of this title.
Editor’s note:
I can’t believe the most anticipated Sonic release this year is a collection of games from 30 years ago. Outside sonic maniaIt’s been many years since the public has been interested in a Sonic game. It is a pity that this character cannot have a single worthy adventure in 3D.
