Since its launch a few weeks ago, Devil Immortal It has already generated a good handful of controversies worldwide, this is due to its aggressive microtransaction system that prevents it from advancing quickly. This has led to a player protesting against the game, but he apparently did so by spending a large sum of dollars.
As reported by VGCa streamer known as Quin69 set out to win a five-star gem, an item that has a low chance of appearing unless some form of payment is made. This led him to spend approximately $15,000 USD, on top of which you can add $4,000 USD that he had previously spent on the mobile game.
When he was finally able to get hold of such a precious gem, he did something unexpected for the spectators, since instead of equipping it, he destroyed it to strengthen a useless level one item. After this he uninstalled the game and proceeded to complain about the methods of Blizzarda kind of protest against this type of unfair practice for a certain sector of the community.
The mechanics that involve paying in Devil Immortal have led fans to great concern, as some are beginning to suspect that the next numbered game may include them as well. However, the responsible behind the project have assured fans that it’s not going to happen due to it being a $60 release.
