With the criticism completely divided and the publication of the first criticisms, Eternals becomes the movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe worst rated, according to aggregator Rotten tomatoes. During the publication of this article, it maintains a composite rating of just a 60%.
In this way it gets below Thor: The Dark World, which boasts 66% on the same aggregator and has long been considered the worst film in the franchise. The numbers could change once the film is released and many more outlets publish their review.
On Hypertextual we are on the side of the critics who liked the film. That it is not without flaws, but that we consider to be worthy of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a different rhythm, and a dramatic construction away from things that we have seen before in the franchise.
