This type of aid in networks is emerging in recent years.
There are many people who are using social networks to request help for various cases. A recent example is that of a Mexican entrepreneur who went viral by transferring 75,000 Mexican pesos to the wrong account and posting on Facebook asking for help to recover her money.
Currently, online banking has become the best tool for people all over the world. According to data from Statista, with the increase in the use of information technologies in the area of finance, the use of banking services has been increasingly concentrated in digital platforms.
Likewise, the statistics platform details that in Mexico, the number of Internet banking users has been constantly increasing in recent years, where between 2010 and 2020, the number of people who made transfers online, according to data from the last quarter of each year, increased nearly 42 million users.
Mexican entrepreneur transfers $75,000 to the wrong account
Through a Facebook account, a woman made the worst mistake of her life by losing 75,000 pesos.
The entrepreneur who identifies herself as Patricia Campos asked Internet users for help to recover her money, and this after making a bank transfer that did not reach the correct recipient, since she sent the money to the wrong account.
“Good afternoon. Could you help me locate Laura YFS With address in Veracruz. I tell you a little by mistake, she was deposited the amount of 75 thousand pesos and we would like to see the possibility of her giving us a refund. I hope that it reaches the right person, I leave you my number, ”she said.
The young businesswoman launched the petition to her acquaintances and the general public to help her identify Laura.
“Do not invent if she has already withdrawn the money, forget your return,” reads one publication.
“When they are extremely large amounts, I always say that they do the weight test, that is, first you send a peso and when the person tells you that the pesito transfer is left, you deposit the large number,” said another Internet user.
“Who makes such a big transfer without being 100 percent sure,” another netizen wrote.
“You have 24 hours to cancel a transfer, instead of looking for the person, you would have run to the bank”, it is explained in another comment.
To date it is unknown if the entrepreneur managed to recover her money, but she did show how social networks have become an important space for people to connect more easily.
Like this story, another similar one was reported, but this one took place in Argentina, where a pregnant woman mistakenly transferred the money she had collected to carry out her cesarean section and thanks to the power and reach of the networks, she managed to challenge her money.
And this is how stories are a very common path currently in networks and that is why more and more brands and companies spend to reach these places with great strategies to connect with their consumers.
