In this context, the ILO reveals that, in 2020 alone, around 191 million 48-hour-week jobs were lost, of which 149 million (78 percent) would have been lost in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In Mexico, according to information from the National Survey of Occupation and Employment carried out by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi), by the end of 2021, 2.1 million people lost their jobs as part of the effects of the pandemic. .

With a video of less than a minute in length, the user shared part of what it takes to start her own business, from renting a place, adapting it according to her needs, among other tasks that she disclosed in her account and that have been done viral.

So far, his video has more than two million views and more than 72 thousand likes.while the tiktoker has just over 50 thousand followers and a cumulative of more than one million likes among all its content.
Everything even indicates that this is not the first video with which he makes known what an entrepreneurial process entails, since, at the end of the clip, he promises that he will deliver the second part in which he will show the before and after of his new deal.
A survey conducted by the Global Entrepreneurship Research Association in 50 countries and cited by Statista, reveals that Latin America is the region with the highest proportion of women who dare to start their own business.
Ecuador, Chile, Brazil, Guatemala and Colombia are the five countries where there are more cases of entrepreneurship promoted by women, while Mexico is located in the ninth position in the ranking.
This report also reveals that the most advanced economies register fewer cases of entrepreneurship promoted by women, due to the presence of a greater number of employment options in such countries.
