An educational proposal oriented to the common good
Aware of this work and responsibility, the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac (UNIVA), an educational institution with 60 years of institutional trajectory and 30 years of experience in online education, has consolidated the mission of training people and professionals committed to the transformation from their community, with an entrepreneurial spirit, leadership and social responsibility; with the capacity for self-management, self-development and interactivity between educational actors and their environment, through an innovative, flexible, competitive and global pedagogical model.
UNIVA is a quality educational project, oriented towards professional training and labor practice, in support of people who work, as well as small and medium-sized companies. It seeks to share experiences and encourage collaborative knowledge through an effective link with the different sectors of society: political, technological, environmental, social, economic, business and educational. During the last year, UNIVA participated with 327 institutional representations, which took place in 184 instances of various productive sectors at a local, national and international level.
Supercompanies need leaders who influence social transformation, have a spirit of service and direct their actions based on a commitment to the common good and sustainable development. So, that the main pride for UNIVA is its graduates, a community that today has more than 80,000 stories of success and value; that has managed to crystallize the educational project and strengthen the representativeness and leadership of the institution both in Mexico and abroad, as well as in all productive fields, science, art, culture and sports.
For UNIVA, ensuring educational quality and compliance with graduation profiles is a priority. Currently, the UNIVA System has various academic programs accredited by the Inter-Institutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education (CIEES), the European and Latin American Network of Systemic Schools (RELATES) and by the Council for the Accreditation of Higher Education (COPAES). ). Its educational excellence is also recognized by the Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES).
The UNIVA System offers 88 academic programs in different areas of knowledge, and is made up of an Online campus, 8 physical campuses located in Colima, Guadalajara, Lagos de Moreno, La Piedad, León, Puerto Vallarta, Querétaro and Zamora, as well as a Training and Professionalization Center (CCP) in the city of Tepic.
