The Ministry of Public Education (SEP) reported this Friday that with the educational authorities of the 32 entities of the country agreed that the classes will be offered, as of Monday, August 30, in person, “responsible and orderly” in the terms that available to the health authorities and the different actors in the sector.
“During the two-day work at the LIII Ordinary Meeting of the National Council of Educational Authorities (Conaedu), headed by the Secretary of Public Education, Delfina Gómez Álvarez, it was determined that at the beginning of the 2021-2022 School Cycle there will be a period of diagnostic assessment and reinforcement of learning, with the purpose of identifying possible cases of absenteeism and avoiding school drop-out ”, indicated the unit in a communication.
Likewise, the SEP said that by consensus they approved that mothers, fathers or guardians who decide to voluntarily send their daughters and sons to school, and students of legal age, “must sign a letter of commitment to voluntary attendance and co-responsibility that will be delivered to the corresponding school authority ”.
“The personnel of the educational sector will attend the corresponding campus or work center, respecting the health protocols; the School Technical Councils (CTE) and the Participatory School Health Committees (CPSE) will be face-to-face and will organize health, cleaning and hygiene measures, as well as pedagogical activities, for the return to school activities in the classrooms ”, explained the SEP.

The agency explained that the Participatory School Health Committees of each school will establish communication with the nearest health center, and will be in charge of organizing and monitoring the work to reintegrate the students to school activities.
