Following these considerations, Dyson launched its new vacuum cleaner: the Dyson Gen5Detect, this being the brand’s latest innovation since the V12 in 2022.
“We are always thinking about problems in the world and we want to solve them. Covid and virus awareness has affected the way we think about things and we want to improve the world in this way,” shared Santa Tazeen, an engineer at Dyson.
According to the study, 44% of those surveyed globally say that the most important reason to remove dust is to keep the inhabitants of your home healthy.
So this vacuum, Dyson says, has several improvements over previous versions, including a smaller, digital motor, a different screen, improvements to the laser, and design.
As for its screen, they integrated a new ignition control, where you no longer have to press a trigger. Also, it indicates with green color when the area has been completely cleaned and allows you to change more easily between three power modes. Boost mode is for more intensive and localized cleaning, and Eco mode is for longer cleaning on all types of floors.
Another improvement of the vacuum cleaner is its laser sensor, because according to the same Dyson study, 64% of Mexicans clean because they see dust and only 33% do it as a cleaning routine. Therefore, the laser now has a greater range of visibility and direction towards the ground.
And a novelty in the design is that now you can convert it into a hand vacuum without having to change the accessory. On the other hand, the battery already lasts 70 minutes instead of 60.
The vacuum cleaner costs 22,999 pesos and is now available in copper blue and purple nickel on the official Dyson website.
