LIME- Dina Boluarte became Peru’s first female president on Wednesday, taking the oath of office in Congress after lawmakers voted to remove now-former president Pedro Castillo.
Boluarte, 60, served as vice president in the Castillo government and until recently held the position of Minister of Development and Social Inclusion.
