Immortal devilThe controversial mobile game in the series is currently in its alpha stage, with various tests for PvP and PvE modes currently taking place on Blizzard. Now, in a recent development update, it has been confirmed that This title will not be available in 2021, as expected, and will now arrive until 2022.
In a recent statement from Blizzard, it has been confirmed that Immortal devil will be available on mobile devices sometime in the first half of 2022. This was what was commented on the matter:
“Following the feedback provided by the participants of the Closed Alpha test, our team has been fine-tuning the core and late features of the game. For example, we are iterating on PvP content like Cycle of Strife to make it more accessible, along with late PvE content like Helliquary to make it more attractive. We are also working to provide controller support for those who want to play our game in a different way. However, these additional changes and opportunities to improve our gaming experience will not occur in the 2021 timeframe that we previously communicated. Therefore, the launch of the game is now planned in the first half of 2022, which will allow us to add substantial improvements to the entire game. ”
While this is not news that will affect the public or the company itself, yes there are people who were looking forward to this title, so the delay is surely a disappointment. In the same way, and although it is not mentioned, it is likely that the recent cases of abuse and the Blizzard strike have some kind of impact on the development of this game.
On related issues, the president of Blizzard has resigned from his post.
