Darío Nieto, Argentine legislator from the Together for Change party, proposed through a video the implementation of blockchain technology for the granting of social plans given by the State.
In a video that began as a criticism, exposing what in his opinion is the current system of social plans in Argentina, The Argentine deputy highlighted the value of blockchain for the state apparatus, assuming that through its implementation intermediaries could be avoided, making the full money reach the beneficiaries.
“There is a way to nip in the bud all those jobs that seem impossible to solve and it’s called blockchain”Grandson said.
“It is a 100% decentralized technology, for which there is no need for intermediaries. It is traceable, so we can follow all movements and it is transparent”he highlighted.
In this sense, it would not be the first time that in Argentina they propose the implementation of blockchain technology within the state apparatus this year, since a couple of months ago, some senators would have proposed applying blockchain technology in public tenders in the city Argentina of Mendoza.
