The Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) of the Chamber of Deputies increased from 46 to 51 commissions, of which 20 will have Morena; 12, the PAN; 7, the PRI; 4, the PT; 2, the PRD, and 2 MC.
The coordinator of Morena, Ignacio Mier, assured that the increase in commissions will not mean an increase in their expenses, but did not explain how much each of them will have.
Morena stayed with the Budget Commission, one of the main ones, since it approves the Federation’s Expenditure Budget; It will also have the Electoral Political Reform and the Security Reform, to promote the initiatives of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador related to the National Guard and the electoral law.
In the distribution of commissions, the MC coordinator, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, claimed that his bench has not stayed with the Surveillance Commission, which he presided over in the last legislature. For this reason, the deputy accused that the alliance between Morena and the PRI took away this commission.
“The PRIMOR impunity pact is confirmed. The Political Coordination Board has taken from us the Vigilance Commission, which Mario Alberto Rodríguez Carrillo chaired with integrity and probity to hand it over to the PRI. We call on conscious PAN members not to be accomplices in this outrage, ”the emencist mentioned in a tweet.
In addition, he criticized the increase in the number of commissions.
“Betraying the idea of austerity. How will there be austerity if they increase the number of commissions? (The increase is) only so that there are spaces for distribution and that shows (to see) that Morena is the same as the PRI ”.
