The last week in the industry gave us a couple of pretty cool releases. As is customary, Famitsu has shared the list of the most popular games in Japan for the past seven days. Although Metroid Dread lost his crown to Demon Slayer, Nintendo’s delivery has exceeded 100,000 units.
According to the Japanese media, between October 11 and 17, 2021, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles ranked # 1 with 94,849 copies sold on PS4 and another 20,187 on PS5, for a total of 115,036.
Secondly, Metroid Dread increased its sales thanks to an additional 22,221 copies, and currently has 109,019. Continuing with Nintendo, the OLED Switch added 32,494 more units, for a total of 170,903.
