A court sentenced the vice president and former president Cristina Kirchner on Tuesday to six years in prison and perpetual disqualification from holding public office for fraud and corruption while she served as president of Argentina, from 2007 to 2015.
Kirchner, 69, was found guilty of “fraudulent administration” to the detriment of the State in the granting of road works in the province of Santa Cruz (Southern Patagonia), her political cradle
