In the investigation, which began a couple of years ago, the regulator found that the companies manipulated prices and divided up the market in order to avoid competing with each other and offer lower prices.
The antitrust regulator has taken into account conduct carried out between 2007 and 2019 and has estimated the damage to consumers at almost 14,000 million pesos.
