Just when you thought you knew all the varieties of hummus there were (which are quite a few), we arrived with the sweet version. A chocolate hummus that was born to break your schemes, to tempt you and to make you enjoy yourself in a very healthy way.
This is one of those recipes that surprise and conquer from the moment you try it, so we can only give you one piece of advice: jump into the recipe without thinking. Because yes, we are aware of how weird it sounds, but what you don’t know (yet) is how great it is. Do it, try it and get rid of doubts.
We introduce all the ingredients, except the liquid cream, the olive oil and the sesame seeds, in the glass of a robot or a powerful blender. Blend at high speed until smooth homogeneous paste.
We adjust the thick point adding the liquid cream (or water) little by little and at the same time that we crush. When it is to our liking, we remove the chocolate hummus from the glass and transfer it to a serving plate. Drizzle with a splash of extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
With what to accompany the chocolate hummus
To accompany this chocolate hummus We have two proposals. The first is chopped fresh fruit (banana and apple are two good options), ideal for those who do not want to add calories to this healthy dip. The second is a combination of slices of toasted bread, grissini or mini biscuits, something more forceful and traditional that is reminiscent of traditional bread and chocolate snacks. Which one do you stay with?
