The Celo Foundation presents the new visual identity of the Foundation and a vision conceived in collaboration with New York-based agency Red Antler, along with a series of partner launches and awareness campaigns aimed at mass adoption of Web 3 by any user around the world.
Being a regenerative blockchain, Celo’s new identity presents a blockchain system as a base to show the ecosystem’s connection to the world and the transformative impact it enables for unbanked communities -and underbanked communities- and for the weather.
“Branding is often an afterthought on Web3, but mission-driven projects like the Celo Foundation require attention to storytelling and emotion.says Deana Burke, director of marketing. “We are excited to launch our new brand identity to gain greater awareness and understanding of Web3 and all those in our community who are building with purpose.”.
As an open and decentralized platform governed by the community, the brand consensus building process followed months of ongoing collaboration between the Celo Foundation marketing team, led by Head of Marketing Deana Burke, and active members of the community. Celo, developers, founders, validators and investors, from Rio de Janeiro to Lagos, with more than 75 meetings, totaling more than 150 hours.

Celo will feature its new brand prominently in a headline campaign featuring Brave Browsera web browser3 with more than 59 million users and Brave Walletswhich provides access to Web3 tools. This follows Brave’s integration of the Celo blockchain in September 2022.which gave Brave users the ability to interact with stable Mento assets through self-custodial Brave wallets, as well as the diverse ecosystem of “dapps“, purpose-driven decentralized applications from Celo, including EthicHub and impactMarket.
At the same time cLabs, a blockchain technology organization, is developing a technical roadmap for Celo 2.0 and will share a progress report in the coming weeks to continue discussing it with the community.
