The name of the invention sounds a bit like a joke but it could not be better brought, although we are very afraid that it is not at all a national occurrence. When we first started reading about the broccomole It was more than two years ago, when the networks saw the birth of a new edible creature from the fusion of two of the foods of the moment, guacamole and broccoli.
Preparing it at home really does not have any difficulty, because you just have to add broccoli scaldingor even crude, to our favorite guacamole recipe. It is basically the same idea that we apply to any of our hummus variants, another dip spreadable that admits infinite variations, being able to make a green hummus using broccoli without problems.
The truth is that the healthy cruciferous version works better in guacamole version, since it already has the green color incorporated and its grainier texture and less creamy it adapts to that of the Mexican sauce, merging in perfect harmony with it. We already know that a completely homogeneous and smooth guacamole is not a real guacamole, it must have its little stumbles.
A Valencian invention for all of Spain

For days now it can be found on the shelves of its stores throughout the country, presented refrigerated in 200 g containers under the banner ‘El Mercado’, in the greengrocers section.
