The big star of Capcom’s presentation at Tokyo Game Show 2022 was Street Fighter 6. Not only did we have a long trailer that gave us a better look at characters like Ken, Blanka, E. Honda and more, but new information was also revealed about some of the additional modes that this installment has.
To start, the return of Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim and E. Honda was confirmed. Unfortunately, we did not see a new fighter. Regarding the additional modes, we have Extreme Battles, where we can fight on a stage with some unique mechanics, such as electric bars and an exploding ball. In the same way, we will have access to Scrap Heap, where, following the great legacy of the series, we will be able to destroy a series of cars.
Similarly, it was confirmed that the Hub Area, where we can participate in online games, will also be an area to enjoy the iconic music of the series, carry out some additional activities and, to the surprise of some, enjoy classic games at our disposal, such as Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
Finally, it was confirmed that Street Fighter 6 will have a closed beta between October 7 and 10 for consoles and PC. Remember, Street Fighter 6 It’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in 2023. On related topics, it’s been confirmed that the Resident Evil 4 remake is also coming to PS4.
