Just over a week to go until the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard, and if you already had your list of games that you were going to delete for their premiere, then we have very good news for you. Unlike Modern Warfare and Black Ops Cold War, this new installment of the popular FPS saga will not take up so much space.
This news was shared by the official account of Call of Duty LATAM via the following tweet:
Good news for all hard drives: Installing #Vanguard at launch will be significantly lower than previous launches of #CallofDuty.
New on-demand texture technology will reduce hard drive space by 30% to 50% + on next-gen consoles and PC pic.twitter.com/afxaJgB3vP

Apparently, this new compression technology will reduce the size of the game by up to 50% if you install it on next-gen consoles or PC. We still do not know how much it will weigh exactly, but surely that information will not be long in being revealed.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will debut for PlayStation, Xbox and PC the next November 5th.
Editor’s note: The truth is, having to delete games or apps just to make room for Call of Duty was already getting tiresome. This news will undoubtedly make all of us who had this problem happy, let’s just hope that its updates no longer weigh the same as the full game.
