From the beginning of this month you can enjoy these different astronomical events:
New Moon (March 2). It will be located at a geocentric distance of 375,020 kilometers. The phase will begin at 11:38 am in Mexico City. Logically, being daytime, in these places you will have to wait a few hours to have the dark sky.
Jupiter conjunct (March 5th). This planet will be at 0° 58′ from the Sun and at the same time it will be at its apogee, at a distance of 5.97 AU from Earth.
Conjunction between Venus and Mars (March 12): On this occasion, it will be Venus and Mars who will be closer than normal. This event will be seen during the first hours of dawn, at 7:13 am, which will make it difficult to appreciate. However, the moon phase will be at 69.5%.
Neptune in conjunction (March 13). This astronomical phenomenon can be observed at 5:08 am on this day.
full moon (March 18th). The Moon reaches its maximum expression. This phase is known as Full Moon or, more simply, Full Moon. It can be seen at 01:19 am and also during the early hours of March 19.
This month’s full moon is also known as worm moondue both to the worms that appear on the ground as the melting speeds up, and to the worms that reappear on the bark of the trees.
Spring equinox (March 20). In this month the time when the Sun slowly crosses the equator, from the south to the north. This is also the first day of spring, in the northern hemisphere, while on the southern side the first glimpses of autumn take place.
