The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that Line 1 of the Cablebus that runs from the Gustavo A. Madero de Coatepec Mayor’s Office to Indios Verdes will be temporarily closed to receive maintenance.
On a tour of the Tlalpan Mayor’s Office to inaugurate the Aging Research Center, the capital president indicated that this process was agreed with the construction company before putting the transportation system into operation.
However, Sheinbaum did not establish on what date the temporary closure would be established or its extension. However, he indicated that the Ministry of Mobility in the capital will establish the dates.

“It is something that had already been planned from the beginning of operations, which is a maintenance process that all cable cars in the world have to do,” said the head of government.
According to information released by Excelsior, after several months of operation it is necessary to cut the main cable.
“All new cable cars present an elongation or stretch of the cable from which the cabins hang, so it is necessary to cut it to avoid arches,” the newspaper stated, citing Andrés Lajous, Secretary of Mobility.
The operating company Doppelmayr will determine the date of this adjustment in a few weeks.
