There are only a few days until Battlefield 2042 kick off your open beta period, so HE SAYS He already explained exactly how they will be dealing with one of the biggest problems in multiplayer titles: cheats. The developers of this FPS mentioned that they will use a system Anti-Cheat simple enough, but effective.
Basically, if the system in question detects that you are using any type of cheat, on any platform, and in any game mode, you will be suspended indefinitely and without any prior notice or warning. Of course, players will also have the option to report those they suspect of cheating, or those players who display toxic, offensive, or inappropriate behavior.
In addition to this system, there will be teams dedicated to “preventing, identifying and punishing cheaters.” Since there will be no tolerance for cheaters, they may be suspended in the middle of a game or at any point in the game. Due to the cross-play, if your account is suspended in PlayStation, will also be suspended in Xbox and PC.
DICE will be constantly working to prevent cheaters from ruining the game. They will seek to counteract any cheating system once the game is released and will offer “multiple layers of security” to ensure that Battlefield 2042 be a fair experience for all.
Battlefield 2042 will debut on November 19th from 2021 to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
