Atlético de Madrid travels this afternoon to Riyadh without Stefan Savic or Antoine Griezmann, the two casualties due to injury in the call for the Spanish Super Cup by Diego Simeone, who does not have Ivan Saponjic, has the rest of the first team and six players from the reserve team are brought to Saudi Arabia: goalkeeper Christian Gómez, defender Joan Rojas, media Alberto Moreno and Javi Serrano and forwards Giuliano Simeone and Carlos Martín.
Neither Savic, who has missed the last seven games due to a muscle injury suffered on December 2, nor Griezmann, who relapsed last Thursday from the ailment from which he reappeared that same day and suffered on December 12, are still ready for the Argentine coach.
The team will depart at 15.00 CET (14.00 GMT) from Adolfo Suárez-Barajas airport. Arrival in Riyadh is scheduled for 11:15 p.m. local time (21:15 CET; 20:15 GMT).
