When using the shopping section of the search engine, it is now possible to select the “offers” function, which will display the promotions and discounts in the main categories or the one you are specifically looking for.
“They will include offers from a variety of merchants, including department stores, direct-to-consumer brands, luxury multi-brand retailers, designer brands and local stores,” Google said on its blog.
Another feature that Google added was that now from Chrome you can search for discount codes when performing a search.
“When you open a new tab in Chrome on the desktop, we’ll show you the products you recently viewed on shopping sites in your Resume Browsing card and let you know if there’s an active promotion available,” he detailed.
There are other features that have been enabled but currently only work in the United States, for example, when visiting a shopping site, there is now a new discount label icon in the Chrome address bar that allows you to view available discount codes in the page.
For buyers in this country, a price comparison function was also released, in which they will be able to see statistics to select the product at the best price. They can also activate an alert so that Google informs them when there is a price drop.
