The bottling company closed the year with an increase in volume (referring to product boxes) of 4%, from 2,372.1 million pesos to 2,280.3 million pesos. Bottled water sales volume increased 11%, still beverages grew 4%, while the sale of cola and flavored soft drinks increased 3%.
During 2022, the operating flow of Arca Continental increased 11.9% to 35,406 million pesos, and net income went from 12,282 million to 15,503 million, which meant an increase of 26.2%.

In Mexico, the operating flow was 20,591 million pesos, a growth of 7.0%, while volume growth was 3% compared to 2021 and 4.9% against 2019, driven by innovation in products and packaging, such as the launch of the presentation of 250 milliliters in the category of soft drinks.
In the last quarter of 2022, the company debuted the Lemon Dou brand in the alcoholic beverages category and introduced Topo Chico hard seltzer. In addition, promotional activities for the 2022 FIFA World Cup boosted the growth of the Coca-Cola brand, which increased by 2.3%.
Bokados in Mexico had single-digit sales growth and double-digit EBITDA growth in 4Q22, driven by the flexibility of the pricing strategy, the launch of new flavors of the Prispas brand, and an improvement in the management of promotions and discounts . These initiatives resulted in growth in the traditional channel and modern channel of 7.3% and 2.2%, respectively.
At the end of 2022, the investment in fixed assets in the period was 9,755 million pesos, focused mainly on continuing to improve execution at the point of sale with refrigerators, returnable containers, and additionally strengthen production and logistics capacities.
By 2023, the company expects high single-digit consolidated sales growth, and will continue with price adjustments at least in line with inflation in each of the operations. It will also direct 6% to 7% of sales in capital investments.
