Apple has registered new Mac models —Apparently, from MacBook Pro— Y Apple watch in the Eurasian Economic Commission (CEE), as the French portal has learned Consomac. It is a legal process that the company must carry out in order to sell its devices in some countries.
The certification, even if it does not show no important feature, allows you to know the devices that are to arrive in the coming weeks.
Specifically, the new Macs registered in the EEC They are the A2442 and A2485, while the rest of the devices that appear in the certification are, simply, software updates of the current models. These two numbers not located so far could belong to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro. According to the latest rumors, Apple would announce them during the month of November.
The 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pros will arrive with a new design and an ARM chip capable of offering greater performance compared to the current generation. Mark Gurman, journalist from Bloomberg, confirmed that Apple intended launch an “M1X” chip in the coming months. This would be the SoC selected for the aforementioned models, while the M2 chip would debut alongside the MacBook Air next year.
The next MacBook Pros could also include a HDMI port and SD card slot. The company would bring back MagSafe, while the TouchBar would disappear completely.
MacBook Pro and new Apple Watch Series 7 in sight?
In parallel to the MacBook Pros, those of Cupertino have registered up to 6 new Apple Watch models with the following numbers: A2473, A2474, A2475, A2476, A2477 and A2478. They could be related to the versions that will arrive with the Apple Watch Series 7. Apple, remember, usually launches different finishes of the same model. This year, in addition, they could announce a new “Sport” version, which would adopt a more resistant design for adventure sports.
The Apple Watch Series 7 will arrive, according to youtuber Jon Prosser, with a design line very similar to that of Apple smartphones, inheriting the characteristic flat edges of the iPhone 12. Colors could be very similar to those available on the 24-inch iMac. Improvements are expected internally, such as a larger battery or new sensors related to health and fitness. It is unknown if they will be announced alongside the aforementioned Mac models.
