Just a week before the premiere of its third season, Amazon has revealed that a fourth season of TheBoys it was already approved. This information was shared along with data that reveals a great growth for production. Here it is mentioned that for the first three days after its premiere, the third season had 17% more views compared to the second, and this is a growth of 234% compared to the first.
Regarding the fourth season, at the moment there is no specific information about its history, which makes sense considering that the third season will end until July 8. Similarly, no release date has been shared. This was what Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios, had to say about it:
“From our first conversation with Eric Kripke and the creative team about the third season of The Boys, we knew the show was getting even bolder, an impressive feat considering the huge success of the Emmy-nominated second season.
The Boys continue to push the boundaries in storytelling as they relentlessly entertain and weave social satire that feels all too real. This stylized world of the series has an incredible global reach and the opening weekend viewership is proof of that. We are immensely proud of the cast and crew that have built a franchise for Prime Video, and we look forward to bringing more of The Boys to our customers.”
At the moment, the third season of TheBoys it’s not over yet. Every week a new episode premieres on Amazon, and it will be next July 8 when this season comes to an end.. In related topics, you can learn more about TheBoys here.
