The ball for the final of the Women’s Champions League 2021-22, which will be played on May 21, in Juventus Stadium in Turin, is inspired by the mountains of the Italian region of Piedmont, of which the city of Turin is its capital.
The design of the ball, which was officially unveiled this Tuesday by Adidas, features the Alps (about 250 km from Turin), with “a star shape reflected in the images”, according to UEFA.
The ball, in addition to the final, will also be used in all the matches of the knockout phase of the Women’s Champions League, starting from the next quarterfinals, set for March 22 and 23, the first leg, and March 30 and 31, the return leg.
