Currently, the 41 affiliates of ACOTUR concentrate 38,300 rooms in the southeast of Mexico and 15,000 rooms in the International Caribbean, with a total of 101 hotels.
ACOTUR’s efforts and activities are aimed at meeting the needs of associates and affiliates in terms of inclusion, representativeness, communication and transparency, as well as networking. Every two months, ACOTUR gathers its members at the Networking Meals to share information and generate business among the associates and the sponsors of the event.
To this end, the decision makers of its affiliates and associates are invited, as well as presidents and opinion leaders of the industry and the destination, such as the Caribbean Business Coordinating Council, the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry, the Association of Tourism Business Executives, the Anáhuac University of Cancun and more.
During the meetings, specific doubts are resolved and appointments are made with the sponsors. Currently, ACOTUR has generated important synergies with local, national and international associations, which has made it possible to work together for the well-being of the industry and the collaborators that are part of it.
These collaborations have allowed the exchange of good practices, statistics and have strengthened communication between Canada, the United States and Mexico.
Today ACOTUR and Grupo Expansión met to address the results of the members and affiliates of the association, the importance of the use of data in the post-pandemic communication strategy of brands, as well as the relevance of outdoor advertising elements in this process.
