Android 12 Beta 5 is here, the latest beta version of the operating system before its official launch. As a candidate version, he already has everything expected of the final version, including his complete Easter egg. Finally, the Easter egg of Android 12 is not only a clock with colors, there is also a widget with colors.
Material You is still the absolute protagonist of Android 12, including its easter egg or easter egg. After activating it, a new widget showing the color palette who is using the system, based on the wallpaper.
A widget with colors
The easter egg has gotten a bit more elaborate before the final version of Android 12, although still very focused on Material You, Android 12 themes that adapt the interface colors to those of the wallpaper that is being used at the moment.
The first part of Easter Egg remains the same as in previous betas, after it officially arrived in Beta 4. The process is the same as always: you must open the settings, go to Device Information > Android version and press repeatedly on Android version until a clock is displayed.
You can adjust the time of the clock by moving the hands and, when the clock strikes 12:00, a lot of bubbles colored with the color palette of the current Material You theme will be shown in the background. We thought it would end there, but Android 12 Beta 5 adds an easter egg widget.
After doing the previous steps, the widget will appear in the launcher selector, under the name Android S Easter Egg. It is a single widget with a 1 x 1 size, although you can resize it to fill the entire screen.
The widget as such simply displays the entire color palette the current theme is using, based on the wallpaper being used at the time. The result is attractive, although it is probably only useful to satisfy your curiosity or for application developers.
