There are probably aliens. Or so Bill Nelson, the new director of NASA, thinks. We do not know what evidence Nelson uses to make these statements. In fact, for the moment no type of extraterrestrial life has yet been confirmed in other places in the universe. Although many scientists think that we are not alone. But he said that he think that aliens probably exist, because of how big the universe is. He has also commented, in a university conference published on the internet, who believes in existence of the multiverse.
“My personal opinion is that the universe is very big. And now, there are even theories that there might be other universes, “Nelson commented at the University of Virginia Center for Politics earlier this October.” If so, who am I to say that planet Earth is the only location for a civilized and organized way of life like ours? “
Aliens, do they exist?
Aliens, multiverses, UFOs … Nelson did not leave any topic untouched. On unidentified flying objects he also has his own opinion. And a fear: that they are not aliens but unknown technologies of other world powers.
“We hope that it is not an adversary here on Earth that has that type of technology. But it is something,” Nelson commented on the sightings of these objects by members of the country’s Armed Forces. “And so, this is a mission that we are constantly looking for – What, who’s out there About us? How did we get here? How have we come to be what we are? How have we developed? How have we civilized ourselves? AND are those same conditions out there, in a universe that has billions of other suns in billions of other galaxies – it’s so big I can’t conceive of it. “
Nelson was a Democratic senator from Florida between 2001 and 2019. Now, he is the director of NASA, but he has no scientific background. Of course, since he began in politics, back in the 70s, he has been a great defender of space travel. He has even been trained before by the agency itself; since in 1986 he became the second member of the United States Congress to travel to space. It did so with the Space Shuttle Columbia just ten days before the fatal Challenger crash. Now, he has been the director of NASA since last April 29.
While we get evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial life, because we are looking for it, you can see the full interview with Nelson in the following video:
