What is the payslip?
This document breaks down the remuneration that a worker receives for providing their labor services and serves as a tax receipt for companies and employees that the payment was made and received.
How to read my payslip?
Generally, payroll receipts are integrated as follows:
1. Company details
These include company name, RFC, employer or IMSS registration and the company’s tax regime.
2. Employee data
They are your personal data, at least your full name, RFC and social security number must appear. Additionally, the CURP, date of entry, hiring regime and the area where you develop within the company or your position can be included.
3. Payment period
This block indicates the frequency with which you receive your payment, it can be monthly, fortnightly, weekly, etc. The date of the period corresponding to the payment reflected in each payroll receipt is also specified.
4. Base salary for contribution
This is the daily salary with which you are registered with the social security. With this amount your social security, housing fund and Afore contributions are calculated, and it is the one with which you quote in case, for example, you want to request a loan from Infonavit.
5. Perceptions
Here you will find the amount of net money you will receive. It can include bonuses, compensation, commissions, premiums or Christmas bonus.
