After this 2022 had a truly intense first quarter, a markedly calm spring and part of the summer arrived, an issue that is about to change completely, because as we all know, September means the beginning of the weeks with the most important releases of the year . The truth is that we are more than excited, although of course, a little worried about the impact that our portfolios will surely have to absorb. Without further ado, we leave you with five games that will be arriving very soon and that we believe, you should take into account for your collection.
The Last of Us Part I
For many, something totally hasty and that should have waited longer. Leaving aside any controversy in this regard, we have to accept that what has been shown so far from The Last of Us Part I looks simply spectacular, that is, you do not have to be an expert or have a trained eye to notice the strong difference between this new version with what we saw on PS3 and PS4. The reality is that in effect, Naughty Dog made its acclaimed game almost from scratch. This remake called The Last of Us Part I, will be coming exclusively to PS5 on September 2. For now, a PC version is confirmed, however, no exact date has been given.
Splatoon 3
Nintendo saying present with an important game in each month of this 2022. September will not be the exception and our Switch will be painting squid ink when on the 9th of that month, Splatoon 3 will be launched exclusively for the Nintendo hybrid . Of course, at the beginning there was a concern that in reality, this third part was almost the same as its predecessor, however, after the event that took place in the game to show its novelties, it is clear to us that we are facing a sequel in the entire term extension. We just can’t wait to go back to all the paint wars and find out who’s who on the battlefield.
Return to Monkey Island
Fans of point & click adventure games and of course, of all the work of LucasArts, you must be very, very happy, because Ron Gilbert himself is back with a completely new game from one of his most beloved series. Yes, Return to Monkey Island is more than confirmed and better yet, it will be in our hands much sooner than we had originally imagined. Return to Monkey Island will be landing on the Nintendo Switch and on the PC next September 22 under clear, a huge expectation of all fans of this particular form of video games. The title looks more than good and we are sure, it will come out to order.
The DioField Chronicle
Square Enix is one of the most active publishers in the entire industry and in this 2022, it has also proven its importance with constant publications on all fronts. In case you didn’t know, the Japanese giant is about to release a game called The DioField Chronicle, which is scheduled to arrive on September 22 on all current and past generation platforms, as well as PC. At first glance, this title seems like it was about to be called Final Fantasy, however, its RTS concepts and others make it something completely different. In case you have any doubts about what type of game it is, we recommend you check the demo that it already has available and thus, you can get a much clearer idea of what it offers.
Valkyrie Elysium
Yes, this month’s closing will be truly intense for Square Enix fans, because in addition to The DioField Chronicle, the Japanese company will be launching a new installment of one of its most beloved but perhaps not so well-known series. We are talking about Valkyrie Elysium, RPG scheduled to arrive on September 29 on PS4, PS5 and PC through Stream. What has been shown up to the moment of this delivery allows us to see that we are facing an action RPG unlike its predecessors, an issue that of course, can raise some doubts. Regardless, we’re almost certain that in the end, we’ll be getting a game worthy of what fans have come to expect.
