Arlington (USA), Oct 3 (EFE) .- Running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed 20 times for 143 yards and the Dallas Cowboys beat the NFL’s number one defense by beating the Carolina Panthers 36-28.
Elliott rushed 20 times for 143 yards in the two-time running champion’s first triple-digit game of the season, while quarterback Dak Prescott threw four touchdown passes.
Elliott scored the first touchdown when the Cowboys (3-1) racked up 245 yards rushing after the Panthers allowed just 135 total in the first three games while leading the league in passing yards and total yards.
Prescott finished with 14 of 22 passes for 188 yards and four touchdown passes.
For the Panthers, quarterback Sam Darnold completed 26 of 39 passes for 301 yards, with two touchdown passes and two interceptions.
