We live in an era in which, from different trenches, we are told about issues such as mental health, emotional well-being, self-esteem, among other similar ones, which are essential in all areas. of the life.
The arrival of the pandemic, to a large extent, had an impact on the fact that people are now more focused on taking care of their emotional healthprioritizing it, even above other factors, such as the economic one.
Of course, this does not mean that economics has no relevance, but rather that, beyond generating wealth, the new generations have focused on issues ranging from inclusion, caring for the environment, to empathy.
This, in addition, has been transferred to the workplace, where there are those who now prioritize emotional well-being; however, on the other hand, job stability is often decisive and, in this sense, a significant number of people do not risk leaving their jobs and starting a business based on their passion.
In the end, it is a very complicated decision that, however, there are those who decide to make it, as happened with a young man who, on TikTok, has gone viral.
Data from a survey conducted by love mondays Between February and March 2019, they reveal that the three main reasons why Mexicans quit their jobs are:
- Salary dissatisfaction, with 24.3 percent.
- Lack of growth opportunities, with 22.8 percent.
- A bad work environment, with 13.1 percent.
However, it should be noted that, in these times, the topic of entrepreneurship is one of the most relevant and, in turn, one of the most risky; to undertake means, in some way, to leave everything to follow a dream. That is, leave the stability offered by a fixed salary to start working on a personal project that may or may not work.

And it is that, at present it is usually thought that job success translates into hours and hours of work; that is, the more hours a person works, the more “successful” they will be.
The idea is deeply embedded in the culture of society, but, on the other hand, there are those who are not satisfied with that way of thinking or with the fact that, in some jobs, more than is often required.
