Viral social media stories involving brands can be good promotion for these companies. This is the viral case of Coppel who won promotions after a video went viral in which the character “Medio Metro” appears buying all the products he can at that time.

“Medio Metro” and Coppel

In recent days, viral figures have emerged on social networks, such as the one known as Medio Metro, which continues to appear in many contents on digital platforms.

YouTuber Yulay invited Medio Metro to make an extremely special video in which the dancer would get a big surprise by buying everything he could in a Coppel store.

In the recording posted on YouTube, the dynamic consisted of the dancer having to hold with their hands without dropping anything and that was what they were going to buy.

Before the eyes of some customers who were, he was selecting some products, including cell phones and screens.

“The most difficult thing is not knowing what to wear. She blocked me, because you are surprised. What else would I like to take a refrigerator or a motorcycle but how do I get on it, ”said Medio Metro once he finished selecting his gifts.

The video went viral, and even promotion came out for the brand with the participation of these two figures known for the Mexican digital pulse.


It is not the first time that Yulay has used Coppel to create content, let’s remember the time that YouTube returned to one of the brand’s stores and paid off the debt of 2,000 Mexican pesos that it had for years.

And it is that, according to what the youtuber recounts, at that time he took out pants, tennis shoes and perfume on credit. Through TikTok, the videos of the moment in which Yulay paid said debt were shared.

Without a doubt, within the wide range of content creators that exist on YouTube, one of the most popular is Yulay, who has a community of 3.58 million subscribers on her channel.

Undoubtedly, it is clear that in terms of content, social networks are a great window for the almost five billion Internet users and, in this sense, it is not surprising that now the profession of influencer is one of the most popular and that brands can benefit from these topics without spending money.
