The Yakuza franchise has had a really intense last few hours. If last night we knew the existence of Like a Dragon: Ishin! and today its arrival on Xbox consoles was confirmed, at the event held by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios that is taking place right now, Yakuza 8 has been officially announcedwhich will officially be called Like a Dragon 8.
With the announcement made yesterday, we could already sense that the people at Ryu Ga Gotoku were going to rename the Yakuza franchise, and with the Yakuza 8 official name this change has been certified. The title will be the direct sequel to Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon, and will put us in the shoes of Ichiban once again, as well as the protagonist of the previous 6 titles in the franchise, Kazuma Kiryu.
