Xiaomi keeps bringing new products to the international market. In recent weeks Xiaomi has renewed its commitment to sound, with three new products designed to have a more complete user experience in our homes: a 3.1 sound barsome cheap headphonesand a smart speaker for home.
Xiaomi Smart Speaker IR Control
Starting with the smart speaker with Google, we have a speaker with stereo sound, integrated clock with LED on topY infrared remote control. Thanks to the latter, we can control other devices that are in the field of view of the speaker, such as air conditioning or TV. For practical purposes, this allows us to turn a device that is not smart, but does have an infrared receiver.
At the top, the speaker has a status LED light. Around it we find buttons to pause or continue the playback of content, raise and lower the volume, or mute the microphone. All of these and other settings can be controlled by voice if you prefer, although it’s always nice to have physical buttons available.
having Bluetooth 5.0, the speaker can be paired with another speaker to create a stereo sound experience. With this, we can turn them into the speakers for our SmartTV. Also, we can send audio wirelessly via Bluetooth. It also has WiFi 5 to be able to connect it to the network that suits us best.
The speaker has two long-range microphones to detect our voice even when we are at a certain distance from it. The speaker is 1.5 inches in size, offering full range, from bass to bass.
Unfortunately, as is often the case when Xiaomi lists a product internationally on its website, we do not yet know its price or launch date, but the latter will be very close.
Xiaomi Soundbar 3.1ch
If you want more power and sound quality, Xiaomi has launched a few days ago the Xiaomi Soundbar 3.1ch in Spain. It has three channels in the bar itself, plus the subwoofer that is separate. The total sound power is 430 W, of which 180 W correspond to the bar and 250 W to the subwoofer. It has USB, coaxial, optical, and HDMI inputs and outputs, plus Bluetooth. Therefore, we have all kinds of connections to connect devices. We also have NFC to synchronize the mobile with the bar.
In this case we do know the official price: 279 euros. However, on Amazon it can be purchased for 249 euros as a launch price, although there is currently no stock.
Redmi Buds 3 Lite
Lastly, they have also reached the international market Redmi Buds 3 Lite, the new cheap wireless earphones from Xiaomi. These cheap in-ear headphones have a battery life per charge of 5 hours, extending up to 18 hours with the charging case. The standard it uses is Bluetooth 5.2, with the lowest possible consumption and a range of up to 10 meters without obstacles.
The headphones are ideal for sports, as they do not move, and have IP54 water resistance. They also have noise cancellation for the microphone on calls, as well as low latency for gaming. They have touch controls for both sides. Its price is 25.16 euros, and you can buy them at PcComponentes.
