The ‘Pink Salary’, economic support aimed at working women in the State of Mexico, ceases to operate after the departure of Alfredo del Mazo as governor of the entity. Now, with the arrival of Delfina Gómez to the governorship, the project will be called ‘Women with Wellbeing’.
On November 15 of this year, it was announced through the Official Gazette Newspaper of the State of Mexico that the beneficiaries would receive bimonthly support of 2,500 pesos to contribute to the reduction of multidimensional poverty or vulnerability of womenand improve your quality of life.
And according to the National Survey of Household Income and Expenses (ENIGH 2022), the State of Mexico has approximately 9 million women, of which 338,510 live in poverty.
If you live in the State of Mexico and are interested in being one of the beneficiaries of this program, you must make sure you meet the following requirements:
- Be a Mexican citizen
- Be between 18 and 64 years of age
- Not having access to social security

And what will happen to the previous incentive? It is no longer possible to renew the pink card. If you were a beneficiary of program ‘Pink Salary’, you will have to wait for the call from ‘Women with Wellbeing’ for its replacement.
