Those Mexican employees covered by the Federal Labor Law (LFT) have a specific number of absences for this condition to proceed. In article 10, it is established that more than three in a 30-day period can have strong repercussions.
As issued by the LFT, missing more than three occasions without permission or justification, gives your company or employer the right to fire you without the obligation to give you a corresponding settlement.

If you are the one who is resigning from your job, the amounts that must be delivered are called settlement. This figure establishes that the employer must make specific payments of the benefits that you have accrued in the year.
On the other hand, the liquidation is the compensation to which the employers are obliged when they fire a worker or when the circumstances that motivate the termination of the employment relationship are unrelated to the employee. Thus, when you present your resignation, they must give you a settlement, that is, the proportional part of your benefits, as we will show you right away.
If you get fired, for your liquidation the proportional parts of the benefits must be paid, plus a constitutional compensation, and a seniority bonus if you have worked for the company for more than 15 years.
The settlement, for its part, includes the payment of the days worked, in case you resign without completing the fortnight or the month; the proportional part of the Christmas bonus, the proportional part of your vacation and its premium, and other benefits that are included in your contract, such as the savings fund.
If you decide to resign before December 31, a proportional part of the bonus must be calculated, although if you completed the year, it must be paid in full, that is, it must be at least 15 days of your salary.
