A week after the chaos caused by the first version of the Android Subsystem in Windows, we have to talk about a new Build of Windows 11 for the Dev channel. We remind you that the Dev channel works on the updates that we will receive next year and that is why we can’t test Android apps at the moment. Let’s see what’s new in Build 22489 on the Dev channel.
Hey #WindowsInsiders! We have a fresh build available today in the Dev Channel. Go check out Build 22489 and all the details in the blog: https://t.co/R0Js3QQJVG

What’s New in Build 22489
New Microsoft account page
They have started to implement a new design for “Your Microsoft account” in Settings> Account. By clicking on this new settings area, we access a new settings page that displays information related to your Microsoft account, including Microsoft 365 subscriptions, links to order history, payment details, and Microsoft Rewards. This allows us to access our Microsoft account directly in Settings in Windows 11. You just started rolling out to a very small set of Insiders at first and then it will grow over time.
Over time, they want to improve the Microsoft account settings page based on feedback from the Feedback Center through Online Service Experience Packs. These Packs work in a similar way to Windows Feature Experience Packs, allowing updates to Windows outside of the main operating system updates.
The difference between the two is that Windows Feature Experience Packs can offer extensive improvements in various areas of Windows, while Online Service Experience Packs focus on offer enhancements for a specific experience, such as the new Microsoft account settings page. For example, in Windows Update, this would appear as “Online Service Experience Pack – Windows.Settings.Account” with a version number. Right now, they are testing this mechanism with the new Microsoft account settings page first.
