One more week, Microsoft has released a build of Windows 11 in the form of a cumulative update for the Dev and Beta channels of Windows Insider. In this case it is the Build 22000.168 And, as we have been observing lately, everything indicates that the final version is very, very close.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: If you are on the Dev Channel, this is an ideal time to consider moving to the Beta Channel. Microsoft will soon begin releasing much more unstable builds of Windows 11 on the Dev Channel as they begin preparing for the 2022 update.

Corrections
Search
- Fixed an issue where devices with active pen support were not allowing search to run applications from their results.
Setting
- Fixed an issue where entering certain phrases in the search bar would cause the application to crash.
Widgets
- When using the Family widget you should no longer see a “connect a device to see screen uptime” message despite having information available to display.
Chat (Microsoft Teams)
- Fixed an issue where videos would sometimes freeze or display a black image during video calls.
- An error has been corrected whereby when switching between calls the previous one was not put on hold, so the second one was superimposed on the first.
Known bugs
- [RECORDATORIO] When upgrading to Windows 11 from Windows 10 or when installing an upgrade to Windows 11, some features may be deprecated or removed. You can read more about it in this link.
- They are investigating an issue where on some devices, when going to Settings> Windows Update> Windows Insider program, only the option is visible “Stop getting preliminary builds”. This prevents Insiders from selecting a channel. They have posted a solution on Answers.
- [CANAL BETA] They are investigating insider reports on the beta channel where after upgrading to Windows 11, they can’t see the new taskbar and the Start menu doesn’t work. To solve this if you are affected, you must go to Windows Update history> Update, uninstall the most recent cumulative update for Windows and reinstall it checking for updates.
- Lastly, they are working on a fix for an issue that is causing some devices to Surface Pro X check for errors with a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR.
Beginning
- In some cases, we may not be able to type text when we use Search from start or the taskbar. If you’ve experienced this problem, press WIN + R on your keyboard to launch the Run dialog box, then close it.
- The System area and Windows Terminal are missing when right-clicking the Start button (WIN + X).
Taskbar
- The taskbar will sometimes flicker when changing input methods.
Search
- After clicking the Search icon on the taskbar, the Search panel may not open. If this happens, restart the process of the “Windows Explorer” and reopen the search panel.
- The search panel may appear black and not display any content below the search box.
Bluetooth
- They are investigating reports of insiders with paired Bluetooth LE devices experiencing an increase in Bluetooth reliability issues. As well as error checks after resuming from hibernation or when Bluetooth is disabled.
Widgets
- The widget board may appear empty. To avoid the problem, we can log out and then log in again.
- Widgets may be displayed in the wrong size on external monitors. If you run into this problem, you can start the widgets through the button or through win + W and then starting it on secondary monitors.
Shop
- They are working to improve the relevance of search in the Store, including resolving an issue where, in some cases, the order of search results is inaccurate.
- The install button may not be functional yet in some limited scenarios.
- Rating and reviews are not available for some apps.
Windows Sandbox
- In Windows Sandbox, the language input selector does not start after clicking the icon on the taskbar. As a workaround, users can change their input language via any of the following hardware keyboard shortcuts: Alt + Shift, Ctrl + Shift, or Win + Space (the third option is only available if sandbox is full screen ).
Location
- There is an issue where some users may see some translations missing. This happens for a small subset of languages running the latest Insider Preview builds. To confirm if you have been affected, visit this post in the answers forum and follow steps for correction.
Microsoft Teams Chat
- The Arabic and Hebrew languages do not currently allow changing settings in Teams. To do so, log out and switch to another language.
- When we make an outgoing call, while we do not hear a ringtone, the user interface shows that the call is connected.
Microsoft Store
The version 22108.1401.9.0 from the Microsoft Store to the Windows Insider Dev Channel. Its main novelties are the following:

If everything works as it should, this update for the Beta Channel will be released soon.
