As SMASH informed you in a timely manner, Will Poulter was selected by Marvel Studios to play Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, information that director James Gunn confirmed on his twitter account.
As you guys know I often strike down false rumours, so… um…
Welcome to the Guardians family, Will Poulter. He’s an amazing actor and wonderful guy. See you in a couple weeks. #AdamWarlock #GotGVol3 https://t.co/RaNeGDIC0E

Gone is the skinny young man, and now Poulter sports a physical appearance worthy of an Olympic athlete, which beyond the gym, Poulter has followed a strict diet at the request of Marvel Studios.
“It’s hard to talk about that because with Marvel everything is secret… I’m in a very privileged position in that regard, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do what I did to be ready for that job,” Poulter told the British newspaper The Independent.
Food, a key factor in becoming Adam Warlock
Poulter pointed out that a large part of the physical change that he presents is the diet that he follows, since there is a team of nutritionists who follow a strict diet
“I’ve been through a number of different diets over the past few months. I’m in a maintenance phase now, which is quite nice… I’m not eating large amounts of food to bulk up, and I’m not cutting back. I’m just maintaining my weight.”
But beyond diet and exercise, the actor must maintain his health, both physical and mental, in excellent condition to become an example.
“The most important thing is that your mental and physical health has to come first, and aesthetic goals have to come second, otherwise you end up promoting something that is unhealthy and unrealistic if you don’t have the financial backing of a studio paying for your meals. and training”.
Under the direction of James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
