For about two years, most Assassin’s Creed fans have been looking forward to learning about the future of the franchise, which looks very curious and interesting, especially since the RPG trilogy has come to an end. At the moment, the only confirmed installment is Infinity, which aims to exceed the expectations of fans who have been asking for a more cohesive approach, where different stories or games will have more weight and meaning with each other. But from the writing of SomosXbox now we ask ourselves, Will Assassin’s Creed Rift be announced in the Ubisoft Forward?
During the Ubisoft Forward on September 10, we will learn about the future of the saga, and as the latest leaks have indicated, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be revealed during said event, where they would show us the first stories and locations available, being one of them one of the most requested by fans. Although, Assassin’s Creed Infinity is in a very early stage of development, so Ubisoft would have to have another installment ready to launch during the next year, where Assassin’s Creed Rift appears here.
Will the Assassin’s Creed remake be announced at Ubisoft Forward?
As several major media outlets and journalists have leaked, Assassin’s Creed Rift will take us to Baghdad and will star Basim Ibn Ishaq, one of the most important protagonists in the main story of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game was supposedly scheduled to come out at the end of the year, but apparently, Assassin’s Creed Rift would have been delayed internallybeing the months of May – June 2023 the moment in which it would go on the market.
Now we can only wait for Ubisoft Forward, where the chances that we will see the first news about this interesting Assassin’s Creed Rift starring Basim, focused on history and stealth, with a much smaller map set in Baghdad, seem to be very tall.
