We are in February, month of love and friendship. Is love free? I decided to ask Don Google. The first result that appreciated me says that “one of the main characteristics of love is that it is free. It is not paid, it is not charged, it is free and it is this characteristic that gives it incalculable value when loving.” Later another result commented that “maintenance is expensive”, what a laugh it made me!
Well, it turns out that the words “love” and “free” are also related to the Credit Bureau. Let’s start with love; It turns out that studies in the United States have shown that the majority of singles, both men and women, consider it very important that a potential partner has a good Credit Report, which also translates into having a high credit score. In fact, to the higher the score, the more likely a person is to leave singlehood in the next 12 months. Additional studies explain this logic: as part of the criteria for starting a relationship, people there are looking for financially stable and responsible partners who can easily get access to an apartment or house; Nobody wants to live with the in-laws.
Studies in that country also reveal that if both members have a good score, the greater the chances of staying together as a couple. It has its logic, since there will be no discussions about debts for having managed the credits well. Check this fact: if the difference between scores is 66 points or more, there is a 24% probability that there will be a break in the next two to four years and, if you feel that you have already released it, then there is still a 12% probability for that to happen in the fifth or sixth year.
In Mexico, the score is called Mi Score and can be requested together with the Special Credit Report. The score of My Score ranges from 400 to 850 points. The higher the score, the better the credit history; that is, he is a lower risk person. A low score obviously indicates the opposite. An attractive My Score starts at 650 points; Ideally you have to have more. And here begins the issue of free. To help you raise your score My Score, Buró de Crédito has a free tool on its website www.burodecredito.com.mx called Tu Asesor that gives you advice on what actions to take to improve the Credit Report and thus also raise your score My Score.
Other free things you can find there are: your Special Credit Report (free once every 12 months); Complaints about the content of your report are two free per year; the free Alértame tool that notifies you by email about changes and queries made to your Credit Report. Do you want more? Of course; There is also Blocking that allows you to block and unblock the access of Credit grantors to your Credit Report and, finally, if you want to know who wants to with you -in the specific case of knowing which institutions would be interested in giving you a personal credit or in form of card- use Acredita-T.
Well, here ends my collaboration for today; I’m going to put the photo of My Score on my Tinder to see if now I’m out of bachelorhood and I will immediately activate my free services in the Credit Bureau. Until next time!
