This has caused many users to ask themselves the question of when will the moment of the update come on our phones? A question to which the answers become complex and are not easy to solve since Huawei is absolutely silent. At first everything seemed minimally controlled, but since it was discovered that EMUI 12 is a reality and that it integrates many changes from HarmonyOS everything has changed.
The most probable date for HarmonyOS in our country
After knowing that EMUI 12 has begun to appear in new smartphones presented, we could only wait to see what happens when Android 12 becomes official, at which time many smartphones will begin to be updated. Spain would be one of the countries chosen to continue opting for EMUI 12 along with the latest version of Android and therefore still without receiving HarmonyOS.
This will lead us to wait again for a new time jump. If we already find HarmonyOS 2.0, it won’t be until HarmonyOS 3.0 when we can enjoy it in Spain, Europe and in practically any area of the world. This launch is usually made at an annual Huawei press conference that usually takes place between the months of September and October in China. This year the appointment is already arranged for October 22, 23 and 24 where apparently we will see the HarmonyOS jump.
It is not known if this will start a major update outside the Chinese border or on the contrary if we will have to wait for the supposed Android 13 to fire it forever. We therefore have two dates on the horizon, one in just a month, others within a whole year.
Why is HarmonyOS taking so long to arrive?
The key reason why we still do not fully enjoy HarmonyOS around the world and more specifically in Spain, is because Huawei does not have as many facilities here to get rid of Google and its services here as in the Asian country. Users are closely linked to Gmail, YouTube or Google Maps and for this Huawei has to develop capable alternatives to make us forget it.
Possibly Huawei will only have one chance to convince users, since if someone receives an update on their smartphone that leaves them without Gmail, at first they will try the alternative, but if it does not convince them they will not buy a Huawei again. That is why the effort of Huawei remains focused on delivering the best And we do not stop seeing many improvements and continuous changes in smartphones without Google. Will Huawei be able to show us that we can live without Google?
